Do Dogs Understand What We Say?

October 16, 2018

There are dog people and there are cat people. There are “both” people. I love cats and dogs. In fact, I’m a fan of every wild creature. Even the dreaded mosquito has its place in the grand ecosystem. But, I digress.

If you’ve ever wondered how your favorite canine understands our words, you’ll enjoy this Oxford Dictionary blog written by Elyse Graham, who is an assistant professor of English at Stony Brook University, New York. She’s also writing a book about the history of the English language used in New York City for Oxford University Press.

I enjoy sharing things I find interesting with you. You never know when some new information will be just right for your new book or story.

Happy Writing... and Learning!
